In this 6 minute audio reflection, I look at passages in Deuteronomy and Acts to show that God has always wanted his people to be neighborly towards each other: serving, working together, and taking care of the needy among them.

Do you read the bible each day? Do you read and discuss the bible with your family? In this audio, drawing from Deuteronomy 6, I challenge us to grow closer to God by beginning a daily time of bible reading and reflection in our families.

In this sermon, I use Deuteronomy 8:6-18 as a test case for examining how we should find encouragement to obey God by remembering all that he's done for us, is still doing for us, and will do for us.
